Just Another Day In Wonderland

So considering im 21 im not very clued up on new technology (it took me 3 months to properly understand all the functions on my blackberry).
But anyways i survived my first 1/2 hr on the sogopro chat even though in my first 2 minutes i clicked a bell and found out i called role call i panicked until they told me they just write their country and local time "phew"..panic over, heartbeat back to normal, So i am eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new Soutern Gothic webisodes, i cant wait to watch them and the rest of the SoGoPro projects.
So just checked my twitter and i have decided when i "grow up" i want to have podcaster denises job, that is officialy THE BEST job in the world EVER!!! i mean who wouldnt want to go to work when you get to interview past and present one tree hill cast and crew.
Oh and also IM GOING BACK TO WILMINGTON whoop whoop, been speaking to my mates and we have decided a road trip is in order to N.C considering i left them behind last time i went "sorry", so next april we are going for the azalea festival and some OTH sightseeing cant wait.
Nothing much else to report tonight sorry, but i am in the process of getting tyler hilton and bryan greenbergs new albums to review so hold tight.

One tree hill

So as you know i am a wee bit obsessed with One Tree Hill i have been watching since the show started, although i do kind of admit the i sort of forgot about season 2 being back on and only started watching again from the school shooting, but dont worry no need to panic i am fully up to date with all seasons now, which kind of works against me seeing as im from the U.K and season 6 hasnt even aired over here yet.
So im finding it extremely hard to talk about everything that has happened in season 6 as no one has watched it aaargh.
So how gutted am i that leyton have left :-( i mean as much as i love naley, leyton were my fav ( well after jake and peyton-jayton?)and i appreciate mark schwann wanted it to be like that i just think as an avid fan, that maybe they should of all finished season 7 together then no more, i mean they have been together for the first 6 seasons.
But although alot of fans have been complaining about how Lucas and Peyton left i think Mark did it the right way it wasnt too over the top no-one died and simply beautiful (although i must admit baby sawyer looked a lot older than she was supposed to be).
So even if this will be the last season it has been fun listening to denise's podcasts with past/present crew, musicians etc you can catch her on http://blueaeryn.blogspot.com/.
The other thing i'll miss once oth is over is the music, as everyone knows this plays a huge part in the shows storylines and i dont think anyone can fault lindsay wolfingtons choice of music, she has introduced us to some special artists and that the fans can be forever thankful.
so r.i.p leyton and season 6 roll on season 7 whoop whoop.

Bride wars & He's just not that into you

Well during a quiet night in with my sister we decided to have a movie fest and watch Bride Wars and He's Just not that into you.
What can i say Bride Wars had me laughing till my sides hurt, such a funny film, and almost choked on my nachos when i saw Bryan Greenberg was in it.
So with a star filled line up, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway,Candice Bergen too name but a few.
I would highly recommend this film, If you have been looked in a cave somewhere and don't know what this is about here's a little synopsis.
Emma and Liv are childhood friends who grew up dreaming of a June wedding at the plaza, when they grow up Liv(Hudson) and Emma(Hathaway) at 26 get engaged within days of each other, and book an appointment with the most notorious wedding planner Marion St Claire(Bergen) so story goes on girls plan their big days only to find out that after a clerical error their weddings are on the same day, and with neither girl willing to give it up the war commences i wont spoil much more for people that haven't seen it all i can say is in between gorgeous Nate(Greenberg), Blue Hair, Tight Vera Wang dresses and fake tan that's as orange as a traffic cone. This film will have you crying with laughter at the sheer ridiculousness of it.
Well worth a watch you wont be disappointed.

So onto my next film He's just not that into you, I personally did not enjoy this film, Whether it was the way the film was hyped up so much by the worlds press that i was disappointed or maybe it was the bad acting and the to-ing and fro-ing from different characters and different story lines, but it made me work hard at trying to keep up with what was going on, and i don't know about you but i like a movie that is easy to watch and doesn't involve you using your brain a lot.
Don't get me wrong there are some funny parts in there one character i did like was Gigi her simpleness and sheer determination to find the right guy was a laugh in itself, but not much else to write home about. With a lot of actors such as Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston(who comes across as a needy person in yet another movie), Ben Affleck, Justin Long, Scarlett Johansson (who yet again comes across as slutty) it really doesn't work, had the writers worked harder on the more interesting characters He's just not that into you could of been a well received film on modern love- without all the unnecessary baggage.

Gavin DeGraw "free"

I'm sitting here listening to Gavin's new album for the first time, with only nine tracks to the CD some would say it was short and sweet. My first impression is that this album is a lot more low key than "Chariot".
The first track is a cover of Chris Whitley's "Indian Summer", which was a different sound for Gavin i felt, listening through the album, it seems that this style is really suited to Gavin's voice and seems to reflect him, it really suits him well.
Although this album doesn't have the quirkiness of "Chariot" and may not give him a hit on the radio, his fans will know this is the sort of music he is suited to and does well on.
On "Chariot" Gavin was probably most noted for his single "I Don't Want To Be" which also acted as the theme tune for "One Tree Hill"
The album was acclaimed for fusing together soul, rock and pop, and singing about things that people from all walks of life could relate to.
Personally, I like that his style has changed without all the over produced music in the background you can really get closer to Gavin and can really listen and pay attention to the lyrics.
Although Gavin and his crew did this album speedily it is still a great sound and worth every minute spent listening to it.
